Last weekend, Aviator Allstars took 2 teams to compete at the Elite Cheerleading Championships at Movie Park, Bottrop Germany.
Germany 2013
This competition is always a lot of fun and this year was no exception! There is a lot of “love” going round the our teams at the moment:
Martin Wan from B2 Stealth said, “What a great weekend! So many funny moments but also so much courage on the mat. Game faces went on and we stomped that mat. Most fun I’ve had in a routine and at comp I think probably ever!”
Kirstie Chan from B2 Stealth said, “Back home from Germany! Best weekend ever! Had so much fun and met some lovely people!! Absolutely loved performing with my team. Being part of Stealth has taught me a lot and I’ve learnt some pretty crazy things over the last 3 weeks. Thanks so much for all the support and the coaches for giving me this amazing opportunity! Will miss my awesome team mates. Sad that it’s all over now, take me back!! AV ❤”
Our senior large coed team, the F-22 Raptors came 6th out of 8 in a very tough division and missed out on competing at finals by only a small margin! But the best thing about competing in a theme park? They got to go and enjoy the park’s rides in the sunshine for the day!
Our senior limited coed team, B2-Stealth have only been together for 3 weeks and was mainly comprised of our university cheerleaders who wanted to continue training after their season had finished. They places 1st in their division in the semi finals and took home BRONZE in the finals.
They also won a bid to the Cheerleading Worlds in 2014, but sadly won’t be able to take this bid.

As well as this trip being a fantastic team-bonding weekend, both the teams really came together and supported each other out on that mat. Everyone should be proud of their achievements this year!
